Webinar – Expanding Open Science: New Models, Evaluation and Open Data

In order to raise awareness and promote the practice of Open Science among the community of researchers, science managers, students and the general public, FCCN, the digital services of the Foundation for Science and Technology, is promoting the webinar ‘Expanding Open Science: New Models, Evaluation and Open Data’, on 25 October at 10h00.

We invite you to join the debate by taking part in this initiative as part of the International Open Science Week celebrations! Find out more about the national initiatives included in this commemorative week on the RCAAP website.

As well as a review of what has been achieved in this field to date, new developments and some indicators, the meeting will discuss New Models of Scientific Communication, the Diamond Initiative and the National Open Science and Open Research Data Programme, a measure integrated into investment RE-C05-i08 – More Digital Science – PRR – Recover Portugal (recuperarportugal.gov.pt) funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), as well as the theme of Research Assessment.

Several members of FCT’s Open Science team and FCCN’s digital services unit will be joining the initiative. The FCT representative on the COARA National Chapter will also be present.
