As part of the PUB IN initiative, we invite you to take part in the Webinar: From Blind Review to Open Review: Strategies and Experiences in Debate, on 18 October 2023 from 2pm to 3pm.

This session aims to be a space for discussing different peer review models and policies, based on the experience of scientific journal managers with different approaches. On the one hand, an experience with double-blind review and, on the other, with open review will be presented.

Objective: to discuss the pros and cons of each model, while also sharing the entire review process of the journals in question: from the process of selecting reviewers to the editorial decision, including ethical issues.

Speakers:

Ângelo Fonseca has a postgraduate degree in Documentary Sciences and a master’s degree in Ibero/American History. He is the administrator/manager of the Millenium magazine, the IPViseu Repository and the ESEV’s “Final Master’s Works” platform.

Teresa Norton Dias has a PhD in Intercultural Relations. She is the founder of Cinema & Território, which she has run since 2020, having been responsible for its transition to SARC.
