On September 26, the Workshop in Biomedicine – New Perspectives in Oncobiology took place at the Alberto Caeiro Library, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, featuring Prof. Dr. Durvanei Augusto Maria from the Butantan Institute (São Paulo, Brazil). He delivered the lecture “Cellular and Molecular Aspects of Carcinogenesis.”

The program also included Flash Talks by UFP faculty and researchers, addressing topics such as the clinical and metabolic impact of cancer, prognostic biomarkers, and innovative approaches in nanotherapy.
