Formerly the Multimedia Library (BM), it was renamed Room Álvaro de Campos when it became a Special and Reserved Collections Room when our libraries were merged, in 2012.

The Álvaro de Campos Special Library hosts the Carlos Fuentes Space (Specialized Library on Latin-American Studies), the special collection of works donated to UFP by Alexandrino Severino, and a reserved space, which includes the archive of periodical publications regarding the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Science and Technology .

This is a space that, due to its character, is not open to the public, but whose collection is fully catalogued and integrated in the Library’s bibliographical catalog, and can be consulted and requested for loan.
